Two hotels in Florence for the Spanish chain Room Mate Hotels

Room Mate Luca is located in the heart of Florence and it is the design hotel by Lorenzo Castillo. Its 53 rooms are housed in a neoclassical palace dating back to 1865, which has just been renovated. Room Mate Luca is the second hotel in Florence belonging to the Spanish design chain Room Mate Hotels, which was born in 2001 with Room Mate Mario. The first one opened in Madrid and nowadays it has 18 properties in New York, Buenos Aires, Miami, Florence, Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga, Salamanca and Oviedo. Its 2012 turnover amounted to 27.6 million euros.

After Milan and Florence and a 30-year search, Four Seasons arrives in the Parioli district of Rome. This is the third Italian hotel of the chain. In fact, works are beginning to transform the former Istituto Poligrafico of Piazza Verdi into the new hotel. Besides the hotel that has 200 rooms, the palace in which the Royal Mint was housed will also have 200 luxury apartments that are destined for sale. 50 of these will have the Four Seasons brand and services.
